Configure NK823x Network Settings

  1. In System Browser, select Project > Field Networks > [BACnet Network] > [NK823x] > Ethernet 1 (or Ethernet 2 if the Ethernet 2 port is used).
  1. Select the NK8000 tab.
  1. Open the Configuration expander, and enter the following parameters:
  • IP address: the IP address of the NK823x.
  • Subnet mask: subnet mask of the Ethernet network (default: 255.255.255.0).
  • (Optional) Default gateway: the IP address of the Ethernet subnet gateway.
  • (Optional) NAT support: enable the Network Address Translation (NAT) support.
  • (Optional) NAT IP address: if the NAT support is enabled, the IP address for NAT.
  1. Click Save .
  1. Select Field Networks > [BACnet Network] > [NK823x] > Ethernet 1 (or Ethernet 2) > BACnet Protocol.
  1. Select the NK8000 tab.
  1. In the Configuration expander, set the Network number: the number of the BACnet Network of the DMS system.
    NOTE 1: The registered process ID value (default: 1) needs no setting.
    NOTE 2: In the BT BACnet Stack Config expander, the physical port for the NK823x is automatically set with the default value.
  1. (Optional) Configure the Physical Port field as BBMD or Foreign Device.
  1. Click Save .
