Create BACnet Protocol under NK823x Ethernet 2

By default, when you create the NK823x object, the BACnet Protocol node is created under the Ethernet 1 node. If Desigo CC is connected to the Ethernet 2 port of the NK823x, perform the following steps.

  1. Delete the BACnet protocol which was created by default under the Ethernet 1 port:
    a. In System Browser, select Project > Field Networks > [BACnet Network] > [NK823x] > Ethernet 1 > BACnet Protocol.
    b. Select the NK8000 tab.
    c. Click Delete .
  1. If there is no Ethernet 2 port under NK823x, create one:
    a. In System Browser, select Project > Field Networks > [BACnet Network] > [NK823x].
    b.     Select the NK8000 tab.
    c. Click New and select New Ethernet.
  • The newly created Ethernet 2 node is automatically selected under NK823x.
  1. Select the NK8000 tab.
  1. Click New and select New BACnet Protocol.
  • The BACnet Protocol node is added under the Ethernet 2 node.
