Enabling Full Discovery

  • You have one or more devices already discovered, and now you want to discover the device objects.
  • System Manager is in Engineering mode.
  1. In System Browser, select Management View.
  1. Select Project > Field Networks > [BACnet network name] > Hardware > [device name].
  1. Click the BACnet tab.
  1. Open the Discovery Info expander.
  1. Clear the Disable Full Discovery check box.
  1. Select Project > Field Networks > [BACnet network name].
  1. Click the Discovery tab.
  1. Open the Device Discovery expander.
  1. Click Scan.
  • A list of devices on the network displays in the Import Selection column.
  1. From the list of displayed devices, select the check box for the devices with objects you want to discover.
  1. Click Save .
  1. Click Import.
  • The discovery results display in the Discovery Status section.
