Capacity Limits

There are limits to how many objects can be integrated into each Desigo CC server. For the System Description sizing guidelines and capacity limits, contact your local sales organization.

Supported Object Types and Programs

NOTE:
It is recommended that you keep your software installed as a reference in case you need to recreate non-supported object types and programs (such as user accounts and reports) in Desigo CC.

Object Types

You can discover the following object types associated with an APOGEE field panel or ALN:

  • BACnet Calendars. Defines a list of dates, such as holidays or special events, for scheduling.
  • BACnet Commands. An object that writes to a group of object properties through action code(s) inside the Present_Value property. When this writing occurs, the Command object starts a sequence of actions in the BACnet device(s).
  • BACnet Event Enrollment Classes. The management of events for a BACnet system. Events are changes in the value of any property concerning any object that meets specific criteria.
  • Field Panels (Devices). Controls system components and equipment controllers. A field panel samples and processes field data, initiates control actions, communicates with its operators, and generates reports, displays, and warnings.
  • Graphics. One or more images representing equipment, floors, buildings, facilities and entire campuses. The graphics can contain dynamic elements to represent devices or values you want to monitor and control.
  • Logical Point Objects:
    • Analog Input (AI)
    • Analog Output (AO)
    • Analog Value (AV)
    • Binary Input (BI)
    • Binary Output (BO)
    • Binary Value (BV)
    • L2SL
    • L2SP
    • LOOAL
    • LOOAP
    • LFSSL
    • LFSSP
    • LPACI
    • Multi–state Input (MI)
    • Multi–state Output (MO)
    • Multi–state Value (MV)
  • BACnet Notification Classes. Sends event notifications within a BACnet System.
  • BACnet Schedules. Acts as a bridge between scheduled times and dates, and the writing of certain values to specific properties and objects concerning the schedule.
  • BACnet Trend Logs. A property monitor for a specific object. When certain conditions are reached, a log is produced with the property value and a date/time stamp which is placed into a buffer for future retrieval.
