Modifying Node Descriptions in a System Browser View

  • System Manager is in Engineering mode.
  1. In System Browser, select the view you want to update from the drop-down list.
  1. Select the root node of the view, that is, the top item of the tree structure.
  1. In the Views tab, expand the view structure and select the element whose description text you want to modify.
    NOTE: Node name is unique and cannot be changed after creation.
  1. Click Rename Node.
  1. In the Rename Node dialog box, do the following:
    a. In the Description field, modify the text.
    b. Click OK.
  1. Click Save .
  • The description text of the node is modified.
